What’s Happening Now?

Hey friends! I apologize for hardly ever posting on my World Race page, it’s been a while since my last update. Back in May, I returned from World Race Gap Year! My time overseas was nothing short of amazing. There were definitely hard moments, but I’m so grateful for every experience I had. I met wonderful people and made friends that I’ll have for life. I look back and think “I would definitely go do that again”.

Over the summer, I was able to rest and reflect on what the past nine months had been and how the time had impacted me. I worked at a coffee shop in my town and spent a lot of time with friends. During the summer, I made the decision to come back to Gainsville Georgia and attend a program called Center for Global Action (CGA). “Center for Global Action exists to mobilize a generation to be passionate followers of Jesus who live out their faith whether at home, professionally, or church planting overseas”.

I’ve been living in Georgia since early August and I’ll be home mid December. This program has been equally challenging and rewarding. CGA challenges people to seek truth and to be firmly rooted in the Lord. With that comes a lot of reconstruction of one’s identity. Although CGA has been a challenge, I’ve very thankful for the growth it’s producing. The community has been a blessing as well. I live with eight other girls who have become best friends to me. We uplift and encourage each other everyday. I’m very thankful to live with such amazing women.

I hope you find this short update helpful. If you want to chat about what exactly CGA is and/or what my World Race experience was like, I’d love to talk more! Feel free to reach out with any comments or questions! Thanks!
